Giffords Hall Vineyard is a family-run estate nestled in the heart of Suffolk, producing award-winning English wines from classic and modern grape varieties.

Set in the picturesque Upper Stour Valley, Giffords Hall Vineyard is a charming, family-run estate offering a warm welcome and a true taste of English wine country. Our vineyard is planted on an ancient glacial riverbed, and benefits from excellent drainage and a unique microclimate — ideal for growing quality grapes.

We produce a range of award-winning wines, including crisp Bacchus, aromatic Madeleine Angevine, elegant Rosé, and two award winning reds. All are crafted with care, reflecting both our terroir and passion for winemaking.

Visitors can enjoy guided vineyard and winery tours, where you'll learn about English viticulture, the winemaking process, and the history of the estate. Our tutored tastings offer the chance to sample a selection of our wines, accompanied by local nibbles.

The vineyard is surrounded by peaceful walking routes and is a short drive from Lavenham and Long Melford — perfect for a countryside day out. Our on-site shop is stocked with wines, and gifts, and we regularly host events and private group tours.
