Shaped by Neolithic flint mining, rugged heath, huge forests, chalk streams to wild swim and surprising pockets of Ice Age water, the Brecks feels unlike anywhere else in the country. With one of the driest climates in the UK, it suits year-round outdoor days. Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds are excellent gateways to the Brecks.
