Guided by two experienced basket makers, you'll learn traditional willow weaving skills and techniques while creating a beautiful and practical piece for your home or garden.In June, the Coddiwomplers will be teaching a Teepee Bird Feeders workshop. This project introduces participants to a range of traditional basketry techniques, including waling, randing, French randing, binding, and adding a track border. The finished piece can be used as a bird feeder in the garden or kept inside as a charming night light.The course is suitable for beginners, and no prior experience is required. Some manual dexterity and hand strength will be needed.Teas, coffees, and biscuits will be provided.Reserve entry is included.Places are limited, so advance booking is essential.
