An annual nationwide celebration of living heritage at The Red House and Archive, our theme for this year is 300 Years of Everyday Life.

Long before it became a home for artists, The Red House was a massive 1000-acre coastal farm. This Heritage Open Day, explore its deep agricultural roots from an 18th-century powerhouse to a 1912 Dairy School. Discover how children from less fortunate backgrounds learned the dairy trade right here. Join us for live history talks, a family detective trail, archival photo displays, and a hands-on milking challenge!
