About Heritage in Young Hands - Theatre (Ages 13-18)
A full-day, hands-on creative workshop delivered in partnership with the brilliant Eastern Angles Theatre Company.
In this Heritage in Young Hands session, we will be moving completely away from dry history. Instead, the day uses professional storytelling, theatre, and creative performance techniques to explore local stories, identity, and folklore. It connects to our gallery exhibition, Local Yokel, giving teens a space to reflect on modern rural life, build confidence, and have a voice.
Friday 28th August, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM in The Art Station Garden, Saxmundham.
Cost: FREE* and including a heathy lunch**
* Each place is fully funded but we will be prioritising children eligible for free school meals or facing rural isolation.
** Please make us aware of any allergies or intolerances so that we can cater accordingly
This is a fantastic chance for young people to work directly with a professional theatre company and meet new people.
