The Anchor

The Anchor is situated in the heart of the well-known village of Walberswick, just a stroll across the allotments to the beach huts and sand dunes. We have ten bedrooms including four en-suite bedrooms upstairs in our Arts and Craft building each with a unique aspect whether overlooking the village allotments, towards the sea or front-facing. A stone's throw from the main building are a further six large Garden Rooms which provide a quiet and comfortable refuge. There are 3 dog friendly garden rooms, numbers 11, 12 and 14.Enjoy a cooked breakfast with us included in the price of your stay. We source locally produced food and drink wherever possible such as Maynard House Suffolk pressed apple juice, homemade sourdough bread & marmalade. A house favourite is delicious Lowestoft smoked haddock & Anchor Smokehouse kippers, as well as vegetarian options like jalapeno omlelette.Our team look forward to welcoming you back to the beautiful Suffolk coast and to The Anchor soon.
